Bucherer Hits the Trifecta with New Tourbillons and Aventurine Dials, in Partnership with H. Moser & Cie

In the world of horology, it is quite rare to see retailers and watchmakers joining hands to create stupendous timepieces. Founded in 1888, Bucherer (which has recently been acquired by Rolex) enjoys a special reputation, not only as the official retailer for the Swiss watch brand, but also for its multifaceted presence within the watch and jewellery industry. The latest special edition pieces, released by Bucherer in collaboration with H. Moser & Cie, include a trifecta of watches that are based on celebrated Pioneer and Endeavour Concept timepieces.

PIONEER TOURBILLON CONCEPT AVENTURINE

Limited to only 18 pieces, the Pioneer Tourbillon Concept Aventurine Bucherer (Ref. 1398-499-1) comes in a 42.8 mm 18 ct red gold black DLC-finished titanium case with red gold-black DLC-coated lugs and crown at 3 o’clock. The dial is crafted from midnight blue aventurine with only a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, which has skeletonised bridges, performing a complete rotation every 60 seconds. There are only two leaf-shaped hands with Super-LumiNova® for hours and minutes.

Powering the watch is the self-winding Calibre HMC 804 with 72 hours of power reserve. Turning the watch over showcases the see-through sapphire caseback with an 18 ct red gold oscillating weight and the engraving of the individual watch number out of 18. The watch is finished on a black rubber strap.

ENDEAVOUR CONCEPT MINUTE REPEATER TOURBILLON AVENTURINE

Limited to only two pieces, the new Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Aventurine Bucherer (Ref. 1398-477-5) gets a 40 mm 18 ct red gold case with red gold lugs and crown at 3 o’clock. The timepiece also boasts two of the most sophisticated complications — a tourbillon at 6 o’clock, hammers and chimes at 10 o’clock, and a sliding bolt with a runner, made of teflon for the minute repeater complication on the outer periphery of the dial. The midnight blue aventurine dial gets leaf-shaped hour, minute hands in red gold as well.

Powering the watch is the manual winding Calibre HMC 904 with a 90-hour power reserve. Turning the watch over showcases the see-through sapphire caseback with double Moser stripes on the plate and the bridges. The transparent sapphire glass caseback also allows for a detailed view of the complex movement. The watch is finished on a blue alligator leather strap.

ENDEAVOUR CONCEPT MINUTE REPEATER TOURBILLON AVENTURINE & DIAMONDS

Last but definitely not least is the Piece Unique Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Aventurine & Diamonds Bucherer (Ref. 1904-0201) that swaps the rose gold case for an 18 ct white gold one. The 43 mm timepiece gets 85 baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel. Technically, it’s the same as the red gold watch mentioned above, albeit with the combination of a tourbillon and a minute repeater complication on a blue aventurine dial. Even the crown at 3 o’clock is set with diamonds.

Powering the watch is the manual winding Calibre HMC 904 with 90 hours of power reserve. Turning the watch over showcases the transparent sapphire caseback with double Moser stripes on the plate and the bridges. The caseback offers a glimpse of the complex movement. The watch is finished on a blue alligator leather strap.
