Vacheron Constantin Dazzles Watches and Wonders Shanghai with the New Traditionelle and Patrimony Variants

At this year’s Watches and Wonders Shanghai edition, Vacheron Constantin has released two new manual winding Traditionnelle watches and a jewellery model for its coveted Patrimony collection. The Traditionnelle watches sport lush green dials and matching straps, offering 33 mm and 38 mm case sizes. The Patrimony model presents a diamond-studded dial, inspired by the watches of the 1950s. GMT India takes a closer look at the novelties.

Vacheron Constantin's new manual winding Traditionnelle watches come in two diameters, 33 and 38 mm.

Going Green

The new Traditionnelle watches spell elegance. The pink gold case houses the deep green sunburst dial in its slim, stepped profile. Offering two diameters, 33 and 38 mm, the watch is made to suit every wrist. The 33 mm version flaunts its precious finery with a dainty set of 54 diamonds adorning the bezel. The 38 mm pink gold case envelopes the wrist with a resolutely elegant touch. The watches are paired with tone-on-tone alligator leather straps in deep green.

The 33mm version sports a deep green dial with sunburst finishing.

The 38 mm model is powered by the in-house manual winding movement, Calibre 4400AS, offering a generous 65-hour power reserve. The 33 mm version runs on Calibre 1440 with a 42-hour power reserve. These models have been reserved exclusively for China for a month.

The 33 mm version's open caseback allows a look at the Calibre 1440.

Dazzling Diamonds

Drawing inspiration from the sleek watches of the 1950s, Vacheron Constantin's Patrimony collection has been expanded for the first time to include a jewellery model. This model seamlessly blends the purity of the collection's design with the audacity of the most unforgettable piece of haute joaillerie ever created by the Maison. The new model is luminous and radiant in all its facets. Making a stunning debut at Watches and Wonders Shanghai, the Patrimony self-winding watch is adorned with 769 round diamonds, delicately set on its 37 mm white gold dial and case. A total of 420 round diamonds are snow-set to accentuate the dial's brilliance. Following a demanding and meticulous process, each diamond is individually selected to cover as much metal as possible. The dazzle of the diamonds extends to the caseback, opening on to the refined finishing of in-house self-winding Calibre 2460 SC/3. Matched with a pearlescent blue alligator strap, the Patrimony self-winding watch is elegant from every perspective. The watch also features a convenient interchangeability system, ensuring versatility.
