Watches and Wonders Shanghai Reveals the Official Five-Day Programme

The official programme for Watches and Wonders Shanghai is now available. Scheduled to take place between 13 and 17 September 2023, the Salon will, for the first time, open its doors to the public for the entire weekend. Over the five days, the 14 exhibiting Maisons will showcase exciting new timepieces and visitors will have access to talks, group workshops, guided and self-guided tours, and more. As per tradition, the first three days will be reserved for professionals (retailers and press), with entry restricted by invitation only.

For the first time, the Salon will be accessible to the public for the entire weekend

According to the schedule, Watches and Wonders Shanghai will run from 9 am to 7 pm, and the Salon will be hosting visitors across two floors. On the ground floor, the exhibiting Maisons will be grouped together and the floor above will serve as a cultural and educational space, with an auditorium seating nearly 100 people. Some of the talks, set to be hosted live by CEOs from the Maisons, will be covering themes such as “The Fine Watchmaking Universe”, “Iconic watches”, “A glimpse of Complication”, and “History of time measurement”. “What Time Is It?” by award-winning photographer Karine Bauzin — an exhibition of 40 photos exploring our relationship with time — will also be open to visitors.

Along with exhibitions by the Maisons, talks, workshops and tours will be available

In another first, e-commerce platform Lazada will allow watch enthusiasts in Southeast Asia to acquire some of the timepieces unveiled at the Salon.
