Geneva Watch Days 2026 Sets Sail with Its Biggest Edition Yet

Returning for its seventh edition from September 2 to 6, Geneva Watch Days 2026 is shaping up to be the most ambitious edition to date, with a record 71 participating brands. The event expands beyond product launches with a dynamic programme designed for collectors, industry professionals and the wider public, all the while remaining free and open to visitors. This year, the Pavillon will be hosting a varied programme featuring new formats, in a setting with a hint of nautical inspiration: Power Breakfasts, conference areas, the collectors’ Tiger Lounge, Culture Club and Media Center.

And, for the first time, the Blue Box will host a major thematic exhibition devoted to the four elements – water, earth, air and fire – bringing together more than 150 new timepieces in dialogue with the forces of nature. 

The Canton and City of Geneva, Swiss Who’s Who and the wider Geneva community will all be coming together to play an active part in the event, including the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), Geneva Tourism, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), financial institutions Julius Baer, Swissquote and Centurion, the Geneva Watchmaking School, the Musée International d’Horlogerie (MIH), auction house Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo and the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH). 

A Nobel Prize winner will also be joining the programme: Didier Queloz, winner of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics, will take part in Amplitude Op. II, a symposium organised by the Fondation Dominique Renaud on the theme “The Time of the Universe, the Time We Imagine”, alongside Thomas Hertog, Janna Levin and Katie Mack.

Engaging activities for the next generation have been planned too: creative workshops, Watch Afternoons, the Calibership Challenge with COSC and a Special Sunday for families, reaffirming the fact that Geneva Watch Days is a place that nurtures the watch enthusiasts of tomorrow.

Needless to say, seven editions on, Geneva Watch Days remains a unique home port for watchmaking, a place to experience it all together, free and open to the public, bringing brands, independent watchmakers, collectors, media, influencers and enthusiasts together without barriers, in the same open and welcoming spirit.

Building on the Momentum

With its reputation now firmly established as a lively, participatory event, Geneva Watch Days has a packed programme in store for 2026.

From ‘Touch & Feel’ sessions bringing international collectors closer to the brands, to Power Breakfasts bringing together leading voices from the watch industry and beyond, the Fingers Catwalk driven by content creators, and a programme dedicated to the next generation, the 2026 edition promises five days of immersion, dialogue, discovery and shared excitement.”

Touch & Feel Sessions — each afternoon in the Tiger Lounge, 50 collectors are invited to discover three to five brands in an intimate setting with no intermediaries. A rare experience, where passion meets direct dialogue.

Fingers Catwalk — over five days, watch content creators and influencers take over the space for a collective creative project around the new references. The result is unveiled at a special event on Saturday evening, turning the week into a living editorial project.

Power Breakfasts — each morning at 8:30 am at the Pavillon, in partnership with PMI, the Power Breakfasts bring together 80 figures from industry, finance and media for wide-ranging conversations about the issues shaping the sector. Leadership, forward-thinking and good company are all on the menu.

Welcoming the next generation aboard — a creative workshop with Konstantin Chaykin, Watch Afternoons, hosted by François-Henri Bennahmias for young watch clubs, the Calibership Challenge led by students from the Geneva Watchmaking School, and a Special Sunday organised with the support of the Musée International d’Horlogerie (MIH), especially for children and their families.

The Classics — returning favourites include the Press Conference, symposiums, Emmanuel’s Picks, the auction in partnership with Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo and the themed panel discussions.
