Jaeger-LeCoultre Presents the Latest Master Ultra Thin Moon Timepiece

Taking the sophisticated dress watch to the next level, Jaeger-LeCoultre has just launched the new Master Ultra Thin Moon variant. The latest variation of the model is crafted in pink gold and boasts a gradient midnight blue dial. The elegant proportions and the sleek design, accentuated by refined details, add to its timeless charm. GMT India takes a closer look at the model.

Jaeger-LeCoultre's new Master Ultra Thin Moon (Ref. Q1362580).

The new Master Ultra Thin Moon (Ref. Q1362580) plays with a rich contrast between the sunray finish and the intense gradient blue shade of the dial. The warmth of the pink gold case subtly adds a dramatic touch. The dial indications match the pink gold case, creating an overall harmony in design. The hours are marked by long, tapered triangles, creating a visual balance with the dauphine hands. The hour markers and the ‘JL’ logo are both applied and the minutes are indicated by applied golden dots.

The Master Ultra Thin Moon features a stunning moonphase display.

The cherry on top is the moonphase display that adds further detail and refinement. The delicate textured finish contrasts with the shiny sunray dial and the mirror-polished moon disc. Displaying the date on a ring around the moonphase aperture enhances aesthetic harmony and creates a visual anchor for the main complication.

The ultra thin case is 39mm in diameter and only 9.3 mm in thickness.

The sleek case, 39 mm in diameter, is well-balanced, presenting a blend of polished and brushed surfaces. Maintaining a strong visual presence even with its ultra slim profile, the watch sits comfortably on the wearer’s wrist. Paired perfectly with the blue shade of the dial, the alligator strap allows easy changes, offering versatility.

The watch is powered by new-generation Calibre 925.

The movement is developed and produced entirely in-house by Jaeger-LeCoultre. The new-generation Calibre 925 is a high-performing automatic movement that offers 70 hours of power reserve. The transparent caseback allows a glimpse of the 18-carat pink gold oscillating weight with refined decoration and finishing. The watch perpetuates the Manufacture’s long heritage of pairing sophisticated and high-performing in-house calibres with the beauty of its timeless case and dial designs. Indeed, the gradient-blue sunray dial, when paired with the pink gold case, elevates the sophisticated Master Ultra Thin Moon watch to a whole new level of contemporary elegance.

The open caseback shows the movement.
