OMEGA Unites Bond and Spectre in Six New Seamaster Diver 300M Watches

Cinema has long understood that a hero’s strength is measured by the opposition he faces. Since Pierce Brosnan first strapped on a Seamaster in GoldenEye (1995), OMEGA has been inseparable from James Bond, a lineage carried through Daniel Craig’s 15 years in the role. Bond embodies duty, discipline and loyalty, bound to something greater than himself. His adversary, Spectre — given its most indelible face by Christoph Waltz’s Blofeld — champions the opposite instincts: independence, self‑interest and freedom from restraint.

OMEGA’s newest proposition is that these forces need not be mutually exclusive. Six Seamaster Diver 300M watches, three bearing Bond’s name and three marked Spectre, give each equal standing. Each comes in stainless steel, available individually, while a limited edition of 77 sets pairs a second steel model with a platinum gold counterpart. Duty meets independence, and one calibre unites them all.

Same Architecture, Opposing Temperaments

Every model shares a 42 mm case and the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. The Bond edition (ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004) pairs a grade 5 titanium bezel ring with a blue aluminium dial, laser-engraved with a wave pattern. The Spectre edition (ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023) answers with a black ceramic bezel ring and a blackened grained dial. Both sit on a brushed mesh bracelet, and each carries its emblem on the rotor: a gun barrel design for Bond, the Spectre logo for his rival.

Seventy-Seven Sets, Two Allegiances

Two sets of 77 numbered pieces, one per name, form the centrepiece. Each pairs a stainless steel watch on mesh with a platinum gold model on a leather strap, and neither is sold separately. The steel watch carries its edition number on a plate at 9 o’clock.

On the platinum gold models, a polished ceramic bezel ring frames a platinum diving scale, and the 18k white gold dial has a PVD gradient: blue with a gun barrel pattern for Bond (ref. 210.83.42.20.03.001), dark grey with an octopus for Spectre (ref. 210.83.42.20.01.001). Both rotors carry their emblem in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, and all four limited watches have a wave-edged caseback secured by the Naiad Lock.

"We are extremely proud of this collection. OMEGA has been the watch of James Bond for more than 30 years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and Spectre together in a collection. Both belong to the same story, and our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both." - Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO, OMEGA,

The Case File

Each set arrives in one box with a NATO strap, strap-changing tool, cufflinks, cord bracelet, loupe, leather travel pouch with card holder and certificate of authenticity. Bond’s strap keepers read 007 and its pouch is blue. Spectre’s bear the organisation’s emblem, with matching cufflinks and cord bracelet and a black pouch.

Audiences have long found the adversary as memorable as the hero. Aeschlimann says both names belong to the same story, and the collection now lets the wearer decide which side to choose.
