The dial carries the same discipline. Its vertically brushed surface has a fine, directional grain, and circled counters bring depth and definition to the composition. The date at 4 o'clock is placed to belong to the layout rather than interrupt it. Baton hands and indexes coated with Super-LumiNova® keep it legible as the light changes.
