ArtyA Pushes the Boundaries with Its New AquaSaphir Watch Crafted from Sapphire Crystal

Displaying unique artistry, ArtyA, a renowned luxury watch brand, has unveiled its latest creation, AquaSaphir. This exquisite timepiece has been meticulously crafted, using sapphire crystal, showcasing ArtyA's commitment to innovation. As all watch enthusiasts would know, sapphire crystals have been one of the most common elements in timepieces. In fact, sapphire has been used for watch crystals since the 1980s. Sapphire crystal is known for its exceptional hardness and scratch resistance, making it an ideal material for creating durable or long-lasting watches.

ArtyA has always been known for its avant-garde watchmaking. The brand’s dedication to fine watchmaking can be witnessed in how it has pushed the boundaries with its use of sapphire crystal. The ArtyA AquaSaphir watch stands out because of its captivating aesthetics. The 41 mm or 43 mm transparent case has no metal/steel elements and comes with a 60-minute, cyan-tinted NanoSaphirTM bezel. The dial has two distinct variations — a blue gradient dial with a sandy bottom and a Gibeon meteorite dial with patterns created by the crystalline structure of metal alloys. Sapphire crystals can also be found on the lugs, the crown guards, and the crown itself at 3 o’clock.

The dial has a round 12 o’clock with an ‘A’ engraving, eight bar-shaped hour markers, triangular hour markers for 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock, a white background-black numeral date window at 3 o’clock, and a white minute track on the outer periphery of the dial. The hour, minute hands are trapezoidal and there is a round tipped central second hand.

The ArtyA AquaSaphir watch is powered by the self-winding ArtyOn exclusive movement with a 42-hour power reserve. Turning the watch over showcases the sapphire crystal caseback with a rose gold oscillating weight that has an ‘A’ as an engraving, representing the timepiece maker’s initials. The caseback also has the engraving of the individual watch number, out of 99, for the Gibeon meteorite dial, along with ‘Limited Edition’ and Côtes de Genève decorations.

Finishing the watch is a blue or a white rubber strap. If you are a passionate collector or someone who simply appreciates fine craftsmanship, then the AquaSaphir timepiece from ArtyA will captivate your senses. The watch offers a water resistance of 60 metres. This depth is possible because of the hard sapphire, which also makes the case scratch-resistant.
