The watch has a stainless steel case, lugs, and a screw-down crown with the TUDOR rose in relief at 3 o’clock. The 37 mm timepiece also has a distinctive bezel with mirror-polished steel insert, with a tone-on-tone 60-minute scale sporting a matte surface. The dial in Lagoon Blue features a sand-like texture. Snowflake hour and minute hands, a lollipop seconds hand, and dotted, rectangular, and inverted triangle hour markers are coated with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova® for optimal luminescence. The minute track and printed details are rendered in deep blue, adding contrast and refinement.

The self-winding Manufacture Calibre MT5 features a bidirectional tungsten rotor. Its monobloc design is openworked and satin-brushed, accented with sand-blasted details. The bridges and mainplate showcase a mix of sand-blasted and polished surfaces, highlighted by laser decorations. To ensure precision, the variable inertia balance wheel is secured by a robust traversing bridge with two-point anchoring. This system, combined with a non-magnetic silicon hairspring, allows the Manufacture Calibre MT5400 to operate within a tested tolerance of 6 seconds (-2/+4) on a fully assembled watch.

Certified by COSC, the Manufacture Calibre MT5400 boasts an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The Black Bay 54 features a fully satin-brushed 5-link steel bracelet, complemented by the Tudor ‘T-fit’ clasp with a rapid length adjustment system. Designed for ease of use, it requires no tools and offers five positions for a tailored fit. The clasp integrates ceramic ball bearings, ensuring a smooth and secure closure while adding a refined tactile experience.
