David Beckham Brings Tudor’s Spirit of ‘Born to Dare’ to Mumbai

Swiss watchmaker Tudor brought its audacious spirit to life in India with an unforgettable evening, headlined by its global brand ambassador David Beckham, at the iconic Chambers Terrace, Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. The evening featured refined hospitality inspired by Mumbai’s heritage and contemporary elegance, seamlessly blending Swiss watchmaking excellence with India’s cultural sophistication.

At the heart of the event lay the Maison’s philosophy of ‘Born To Dare’, a signature that reflects both the history of the brand and what it stands for today. It tells of the adventures of individuals, who have achieved the extraordinary on land, on ice, in the air or underwater, with a Tudor watch on their wrists. It also refers to the vision of Hans Wilsdorf, founder of Tudor, who manufactured Tudor watches to withstand the most extreme conditions, watches made for the most daring lifestyles.

Beckham sat down for a free-wheeling fire-side chat with select media before the event.

As the global ambassador for Tudor, Beckham brought with him not just star power, but also the brand’s ethos of boldness, craft, and modern heritage. His visit included a special engagement with media followed by an event alongside watch collectors, enthusiast and Bollywood celebrities, celebrating Tudor’s expanding presence in India and its rising relevance among a younger, design-savvy audience.

Talking about the brand, Beckham expressed how well it fits his personal style, “Tudor has got the balance right because it is about craftsmanship and heritage with a modern twist. When the Ranger came out a few years ago, there was something so elegant about it.”

The event celebrated the Maison’s philosophy of ‘Born To Dare’ with David Beckham.

The brand also showcased a selection of its most celebrated timepieces, including iconic collections that embody the brand’s spirit of precision, resilience, and daring design.

By bringing Beckham to India, Tudor created a cultural moment that reflects the brand’s growing presence and commitment to the Indian luxury landscape, and its mission to connect with audiences through unforgettable experiences. Beckham shared, “This is my second visit here to India. I was here two years ago. Yesterday I was in Vizag and today I am here in Mumbai for the first time with Tudor. It’s great to be back.”

Sporting his signature effortless style, sharp tailoring, ink peeking through crisp cuffs, and the new Ranger on his wrist, Beckham spoke about what draws him to Tudor: authenticity, performance, and a fearless attitude towards reinvention. He said, “I guess my favourite is the Ranger, and I am wearing it today. It is a perfect, elegant watch. There is history and heritage to this watch which makes it special.”

In a market where luxury is rapidly evolving beyond legacy into lifestyle, his presence underscored Tudor’s unique space as a brand that marries technical watchmaking with contemporary cool.
