Mix and Match: Ralph Lauren Introduces Coloured Straps for its Stirrup Collection

Ralph Lauren has introduced a host of coloured straps in alligator or calf leather for its signature Stirrup Collection. Featuring new colourways, including white, red, bright navy and marine navy, the straps offer wearers mix-and-match options.

The Ralph Lauren Stirrup watch collection, which made its debut in 2009, is elegant as well as adventurous. It truly captures the essence of the brand’s equestrian heritage with its stirrup-shaped silhouette. 

Available in five different sizes, the collection aims to be a unisex one and comes in a variety of finishes, such as rose gold and stainless steel. There’s also a version with diamond embellishment. 

The Ralph Lauren Stirrup watch collection is incredibly versatile, offering a unique interchangeable strap system. Mimicking the contour of a saddle, there’s a small tab and stud closure on the top of the watchcase that can be used to easily change a strap. In keeping with its equestrian theme, some subtle yet distinctive details include the watch’s stirrup-shaped buckle that complements its case.

Additionally, to ensure a contemporary look, the Ralph Lauren Stirrup Link watches feature stirrup-shaped cases, paired with chain-link bracelets. Each bracelet lies comfortably flat on the wrist as each link gets interlocked with the other. The impeccably lacquered dials are accentuated with Roman numerals and minute tracks, convex sapphire crystals and sword-shaped hands and these are available in black or white.

Apart from maintaining the understated elegance of design, the Stirrup variants are also known for meeting the highest standards of Swiss precision. The mini, petite and small models are powered by a Swiss-manufactured quartz movement while the medium and large models are run by a Swiss-manufactured mechanical self-winding movement. For a more polished look, each movement is hand-finished with vertical Côtes de Genève stripes and circular graining, known as Perlage.

The collection and its bold, new straps will be available at the brand’s flagship stores as well as online.
