TAG Heuer has introduced new collections, comprising latest versions of some of its iconic timepieces, at the ongoing Watches and Wonders 2023. Take, for example, the Aquaracer Professional 200 watches in stainless steel and gold and the new Carrera in multiple variations.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200
The new TAG Heuer Aquaracer 200 watches have been launched in 40 mm and 30 mm versions. (Ref. WBP2150.FT6210) and (Ref. WBP2151.FT6199) are 40 mm watches that come in stainless steel cases with yellow gold bezels or in stainless steel cases with rose gold bezels. The yellow gold-cased model has yellow gold, trapezoidal hour markers and yellow gold-plated hour, minute and second hands, coated with white Super-LumiNova®. They also feature blue fumé, sunray-brushed dials.
The second model (Ref. WBP2151.FT6199) has a rose gold bezel and a black fumé sunray-brushed dial. The dial also includes rose gold, trapezoidal hour markers and rose gold-plated hour, minute and second hands, coated with Super-LumiNova®. Both models come with date windows at 6 o’clock.
The 40 mm watches are powered by the Calibre 5 Automatic movement with 38 hours of power reserve. Both models come with crowns made of the same metal, matching the 12-sided, 60-minute, unidirectional bezel.
The 30 mm watch comes in a stainless steel case with a yellow gold bezel (Ref. WBP2450.FT6215) or in a stainless steel case with a rose gold bezel (Resp.WBP2451.FT6200). The yellow gold model gets a blue fumé, mother-of-pearl dial while the rose gold model gets a black fumé, mother-of-pearl dial. The 30 mm model also gets 11 diamonds as hour markers and a date window at 6 o’clock. The hour, minute, second hands and the crown match the material of the bezel. Powering the watches is the Calibre 9 automatic movement with 40 hours of power reserve.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 collection also includes one-all rose gold (Ref. WBP5150.FT6199) and one-all yellow gold (WBP5152.FT6210) models. These models are aesthetically identical to the stainless steel 40 mm models. Powering the variants is the Calibre TH31-00 Automatic COSC movement with an 80-hour power reserve. Turning them over reveals the transparent casebacks with redesigned oscillating weights.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph
TAG Heuer has unveiled two 42 mm stainless steel models for the chronograph. These models draw inspiration from the 1963 Heuer Carrera. Ref. CBN201C.FC6542 has a black dial while Ref. CBN201D.FC6543 has a blue dial. Both models come with orange gradient tracks. There are three chronograph counters at 3 o’clock for the 30-minute counter; at 6 o’clock, you will find the seconds indicator with a date window below it; and 9 o’clock marks the 12-hour counter. The subdials are in the same colour as the dial.
Both models come with orange-lacquered central chronograph hands and two stainless steel pushers at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock to start and restart the function. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph is equipped with the in-house automatic chronograph Calibre Heuer02 movement with 80 hours of power reserve. Turning the watches over showcases the steel screw-down sapphire casebacks with gold plating oscillating weights.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph and TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon: ‘Glass Box’ Edition
TAG Heuer is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Carrera series, and the new ‘Glassbox’ edition is the perfect way to commemorate such a milestone. The two timepieces, (Ref.
