An Evening of ‘Miracles’ as Chopard Showcases Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie Creations in Shanghai

On the evening of 24 October 2026, Shanghai’s former Bund City Hall provided the backdrop for the inauguration of Miracles, Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie exhibition. Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of the Maison, welcomed guests to a gala where orchid-hued décor, magic performances and acrobatic displays transformed the historic venue into a dreamlike setting. A fashion show followed, pairing Haute Joaillerie creations with silhouettes from Caroline’s Couture collection, underscoring the creative unity that defines the House.

A Gathering of Remarkable Creations

The evening also provided an elegant showcase for the pieces worn by Chopard’s Ambassadors and Friends, each carrying them with effortless poise. Global Ambassador Liu Wen appeared in two looks featuring Haute Joaillerie parures, including a striking tanzanite necklace, and wore a Happy Sport The First watch. Global Ambassador Zhu Yilong paired a Happy Diamonds Heritage timepiece with creations from the Red Carpet Collection, a combination that felt both considered and assured. Ambassador Liu Haocun and pianist Gina Alice complemented their Haute Joaillerie selections with Happy Sport The First timepieces, demonstrating the natural harmony between Chopard’s jewellery and watchmaking savoir-faire.

From 23 to 26 October, the exhibition presented more than 100 emblematic creations that celebrate the jewellery and watchmaking expertise of the Maison. At its centre stood the 2026 Red Carpet Collection, also titled Miracles, first unveiled at the 79th Cannes Film Festival. Drawing on the wonders of everyday life and nature, the collection gives expression to imagination, creativity and exceptional craftsmanship, realised through remarkable gemstones and vibrant compositions.

A dedicated space marked the new Happy Diamonds campaign and retraced the 50-year history of a revolutionary idea, born from the conviction that “Diamonds are happier when they are free”. Visitors could discover the latest Happy Sport The First and Happy Diamonds creations there, each carrying the same spirit of freedom and joy. Another section turned to the L.U.C and Alpine Eagle collections, where Chopard’s command of watchmaking complications was shown with clarity and confidence.

All in all, the exhibition presented Shanghai with a richly layered and beautifully orchestrated portrait of the Maison. Guided by Caroline Scheufele’s artistic vision, brought to life through the craftsmanship of Chopard’s ateliers and enhanced by the elegance of its guests, the evening stood as a fitting celebration of the House’s enduring creative spirit.
