Breitling Marks Kapoor Watch Co.’s 59th Anniversary with a Limited-Edition Superocean Heritage

Breitling has unveiled the limited-edition Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic 42 to mark the 59th anniversary of Kapoor Watch Co. Launched at the inaugural Hours & Icons, held in New Delhi from October 23 to 25, 2026, the India-exclusive timepiece is limited to 59 pieces and available exclusively through the retailer.

The edition retains the Superocean Heritage’s maritime design codes, first established in the 1950s, while introducing a blue dial, a black ceramic bezel and 18k gold accents on the hands, indexes and crown. The stainless steel case measures 42 mm and is paired with a black mesh rubber strap secured by a folding clasp. Each watch bears an engraving reading “One of 59”.

Powering the timepiece is Breitling’s manufacture Caliber B31, an automatic time-and-date movement offering approximately 78 hours of power reserve and chronometer-grade precision. A transparent caseback provides a view of the movement, while the date display at six o’clock preserves the symmetry of the dial.

The watch is water resistant to 200 metres and features a screw-down crown. A rotating bezel with a black ceramic inlay offers enhanced scratch resistance, while the signature arrow-shaped hour hand, spear-shaped minute hand and pointed indexes ensure legibility.

The Superocean Heritage draws on the legacy of Breitling’s 1957 dive watch collection, which included a time-only model alongside the original Superocean chronograph. Designed to combine underwater functionality with an elegant aesthetic, the collection continues to bridge maritime performance and everyday wear.

The Kapoor Watch Co. edition extends Breitling’s range of India-exclusive watches, marking nearly six decades of the retailer’s presence in the country through a limited production run tied to the anniversary.
