Check out the Top-selling Watches at AstaGuru’s Jewellery, Silver and Timepieces Auction

At AstaGuru’s just-concluded Jewellery, Silver and Timepieces Auction, a wide range of coveted jewellery pieces, vintage silver and extraordinary timepieces went under the hammer. Hosted on the AstaGuru website, the auction’s offerings were part of a meticulously curated catalogue that revealed a diverse range of artisanal pieces, highlighting exceptional design and craftsmanship heritage from across the world. Several Art Deco pieces were on offer too.

Here are the most exquisite watches from the AstaGuru Timepiece Auction:

Lot No. 100

Patek Philippe Aquanaut (Ref. 5167)

Housed in a steel case with a black embossed dial, this automatic movement timepiece was one of the top pieces sold at the auction. When it was launched in 1997, the Aquanaut, with its young, modern, unexpected aesthetics, created a sensation. The rounded octagon case, inspired by the Nautilus, emboldens its visual appeal. The watch sits on a ‘tropical’ strap, made of a new composite material that’s ultra-resistant to wear, salt water and UV radiation.

The complications include a perpetual calendar and moon phase. It sits on a handsome leather strap with a gold deployant buckle. The pre-auction price was expected to be in the range of INR 32,00,000-INR 42,00,000 and it ended up fetching almost the maximum estimated price.
