Dubai Watch Week marked the conclusion of its remarkable 7th edition with a resounding success. Featuring exciting watch launches and participation from over 90 prestigious brands, the event drew global media attention and captivated watch enthusiasts alike. Adding to the glamour, a host of celebrities graced Burj Park in Dubai, bringing star power to the fair. The distinguished guest list included musician John Mayer, footballers Kylian Mbappé and Zlatan Ibrahimović, football legends Kaka and Marcelo, cricketer Kane Williamson, businessman Kevin O’Leary, and Indian film icon Dhanush. Other notable attendees were Fred Savage, Kelly Piquet, Anand Ahuja, among others, making the Week a dazzling convergence of horology, culture, and celeb power.

Grammy-winning musician and a passionate watch collector, John Mayer spoke to GMT India about the stunning Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ultra Thin Tourbillon on his wrist. 

Kylian Mbappé wearing Hublot Big Bang Chronograph 

Footballer Kylian Mbappé was also spotted at Dubai Watch Week. On his wrist gleamed a Hublot Big Bang Chronograph in steel and diamonds.

Badshah wearing Greubel Forsay Piece Unique 

Indian rapper and watch enthusiast Badshah was also spotted sporting a Greubel Forsay Sapphire Sport Balancier GMT piece unique. 

Kane Williamson wearing Vyntage Horology 

New Zealand’s cricket team captain Kane Williamson attended the watch fair wearing a timepiece from Vyntage Horology, a brand founded by Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, a visionary leader and scion of the Seddiqi family, renowned for their seven-decade legacy in horological excellence across the Middle East. The timepiece is called Purity Tantonyx, named after the materials used in the watch, tantalum, and black onyx.
