Styled by Mark Avery, Gosling wore the same watch with a black Gucci suit later during the Oscars ceremony. The watch features a special shield-shaped pink diamond below the signature Carrera logo, making the piece perfect for the starry, starry night. The dazzling dial is further punctuated by white gold indexes and set with white lab-grown diamonds.

Winner of the Best Actor in a Leading Role award for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Cillian Murphy wore the 41 mm De Ville Prestige in steel, boasting a pine green dial. The domed PVD pine green dial features a random stamped vertical pattern with a sun-brushed finish. The display is contrasted by yellow gold-plated hands as well as alternating Roman numerals and cabochon indexes. The actor’s Versace tuxedo was also paired with a bespoke brooch, produced by Hong Kong-based design house Sauvereign. It was handcrafted by watchmaker Kari Voutilainen.
